Finance Executive – E‑Commerce Marketplace

About the role

The Finance Executive will manage all financial operations for The Marketplace Guru, an e‑commerce marketplace agency. The role covers bookkeeping, fund management, compliance, payroll and vendor payments, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain sales, purchase, expense and debit note records in Tally and perform cash‑book entries.
• Reconcile vendor payments, manage multi‑currency fund inflows from Amazon via Pingpong and transfer to ICICI Bank.
• Plan and monitor bank loan interest payments and credit‑card auto‑pays.
• Prepare and reconcile GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B, GSTR‑2B, handle GST disputes, TDS filings, advance tax deposits and ROC/MSME returns.
• Process payroll, including ESIC, PF, advances, and upload salary sheets and tax certificates.
• Generate monthly financial reports, update MIS schedules and conduct review meetings.
• Handle additional tasks such as bill reconciliation, Form 16 preparation, bonus administration and credit‑card reviews.

Required profile

• Strong interest in e‑commerce and quick learning ability.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual collaboration.
• Proficiency with G Suite/Google Sheets and typing speed of 55 WPM.
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Experience with Tally and GST filing processes.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, dashboards).
