Finance Controller

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with over 10 years of post‑qualification experience to lead our finance function. The role involves overseeing end‑to‑end accounting operations, ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards and statutory regulations, and driving financial governance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing, financial statement preparation, and statutory filings.
• Coordinate internal, statutory, and regulatory audits, working closely with Big 4 audit firms.
• Establish a robust finance department covering finance strategy, tax compliance, operations, business finance, MIS and reporting.
• Ensure quarterly and annual financial statements are presented to the Audit Committee, Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor taxation structuring, corporate tax planning and GST compliance.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams (legal, compliance, technology) and external parties (audit firms, regulators, investors).
• Partner with senior leadership, auditors and consultants to resolve issues and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of post‑qualification experience.
• Hands‑on finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise.
• Proven track record managing complex finance operations in a listed‑company environment.
• Experience working with Big 4 audit firms and handling statutory compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder and project management abilities.
