Senior Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at the Navi Mumbai office. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day‑to‑day accounting activities, and coordinating with our branches in Mumbai, Delhi and Nagpur.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, invoicing and bookkeeping.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer and inter‑branch reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Own accounts payable and receivable processes, from invoice verification to payment tracking.
• Maintain accurate records in Tally ERP, ensuring timely posting of all transactions.
• Coordinate accounting entries, reconciliations and documentation with Mumbai, Delhi and Nagpur branches.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports and other management reports.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables, driving timely closures.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including account reviews and reconciliations.
• Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory requirements, liaising with consultants and auditors as needed.
• Review entries for errors or irregularities and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting or a related field.
• 4–5 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Experience in logistics, shipping or freight forwarding is preferred.
• Proven ability to handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and multi‑branch coordination.
