About the role
3M is seeking a proactive Field/Key Account Sales professional to lead sales and distribution activities across a defined territory in Bangalore. You will be responsible for delivering the annual business plan, driving demand generation, and ensuring product availability at top outlets.
Key responsibilities
- Implement, supervise and improve frontline sales and distribution infrastructure, metrics, processes and promotions.
- Achieve the annual business plan for the assigned territory and channel.
- Execute demand‑generation, visibility and merchandising programs to meet sell‑out targets.
- Monitor and improve range availability and product placement with the sales team.
- Manage distributor and super‑stockist operations, including financial claim settlement.
- Conduct data mining, analysis and planning to design targeted sales programs.
- Spend approximately 18 days per month in the market executing outlet‑level plans and training the team.
- Maintain relationships with top outlets and directly handle their business.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering sales targets and annual business plans.
- Ability to manage distributor and super‑stockist relationships.
- Strong analytical skills for data mining and program planning.
- Willingness to travel frequently and spend significant time in the field.
- Excellent coordination with sales, merchandising and finance teams.
