About the role

The Food & Beverage Hostess greets guests, manages seating, and ensures a welcoming dining environment at a Marriott hotel in Jaipur. This full‑time position involves direct interaction with guests and coordination with the service team to maintain high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
• Pull out chairs, place menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware, and any required items.
• Guide guests through the dining area, assist with special seating needs, and monitor table availability.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, practice clean‑as‑you‑go procedures, and keep menus current and wrinkle‑free.
• Follow company safety policies, report accidents, and complete required safety training.
• Uphold uniform standards, protect confidential information, and support a professional appearance.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and communicate clearly with guests and team members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
