Experienced Java/Python Software Engineer (Full Stack or Back End)

About the role

Join JPMorgan Chase’s Global Technology team as an experienced software engineer. You will work within an agile squad to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable technology products that power banking, trading, payments, and cloud integration initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, resilient systems using Java or Python.
• Write secure, high‑quality production code and maintain synchronous algorithms.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts while ensuring design constraints are met.
• Gather, analyze, and visualize large data sets to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify hidden problems in code and data, applying insights to improve hygiene and architecture.
• Contribute to engineering communities, sharing knowledge of emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java or Python development within a large corporate environment.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile practices such as CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Knowledge of cloud, AI/ML, mobile, or related technical domains.
