Executive Engineer – Plant Engineering (Satara)

About the role

The Executive Engineer – Plant Engineering will lead the General shift activities in the plant engineering department at our Satara facility. You will coordinate work allocation, support technicians, and ensure smooth operation of critical process control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign jobs for the General shift, guiding operators and technicians.
• Arrange and manage spares inventory to address breakdowns promptly.
• Conduct inspections of engineering stores and oversee inbound material.
• Handle breakdown notifications, initiate work orders, and enforce LOTO procedures.
• Coordinate with service contract personnel under Annual Maintenance Contracts.
• Prepare and release monthly review reports, breakdown analysis, and ensure compliance with ISO 9000/9001 records.
• Plan and execute yearly overhauls, statutory compliance activities, and budgeting for engineering projects.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of field instruments.
• Proven ability to develop and follow maintenance schedules for DCS, PLC, and instrumentation systems.
• Strong spares management and budgeting skills.
• Effective people and vendor management capabilities.
