Executive Engineer – Mechanical Utilities & Projects

About the role

The Executive Engineer will lead mechanical utilities maintenance, CAPEX project execution, statutory compliance, and contractor management for high equipment uptime, cost control, and safety at our Navi Mumbai facility.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance for HVAC, pumps, fans, blowers, air compressors, chillers, diesel generators and other mechanical infrastructure.
• Conduct breakdown analysis, root‑cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Manage annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), vendor performance and critical spare inventory.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and statutory requirements under the Factories Act (lifting tools, pressure vessels, fire safety).
• Prepare and execute CAPEX proposals, oversee erection, commissioning and installation of mechanical systems, and track project schedules and budgets.
• Supervise technicians and contractors, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and maintain communication with internal stakeholders, vendors and authorities.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (essential).
• Proven experience in mechanical utilities maintenance, project execution and contractor management.
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance and ISO standards.
