Executive Assistant to CEO

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support the CEO of Scrubsy, India’s leading foam‑based household cleaner. This high‑visibility position goes beyond traditional secretarial duties, acting as the operating nerve centre for the founder’s day‑to‑day activities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the CEO’s calendar end‑to‑end, scheduling and prioritising high‑impact work.
• Filter and manage the inbox, surfacing urgent items and handling low‑priority noise.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure CEO‑level decisions move forward without lag.
• Track open action items from leadership conversations and flag blockers early.
• Manage travel, logistics and itineraries for the CEO.
• Prepare briefing notes, meeting summaries and presentation decks as required.
• Handle confidential information with complete discretion.
• Support ad‑hoc research and analysis.

Required profile

• 1 to 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations Associate, Chief of Staff or a similar high‑ownership role.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Prior experience in D2C, e‑commerce or startup environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
