Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable and safe operation of all electrical equipment within the plant. This role involves executing scheduled and emergency maintenance, supporting projects, managing spare‑part inventory, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and corrective electrical maintenance tasks on plant equipment.
• Execute daily, weekly and monthly maintenance plans in coordination with planning and plant teams.
• Manage inventory of electrical spare parts, track levels and ensure availability of critical components.
• Conduct troubleshooting, repair and refurbishment of electrical systems and components.
• Carry out risk assessments, obtain permits and follow MOC (Management of Change) procedures for all critical activities.
• Support CAPEX projects, implement life‑cycle and obsolescence plans, and contribute to cost budgeting.
• Document all maintenance actions, ensure compliance with HSE standards and maintain up‑to‑date records.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and drive implementation of corrective recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or plant environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, HSE and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, risk assessments and documentation protocols.
• Good organizational skills to coordinate maintenance schedules and inventory management.
