District Trainer

About the role

The District Trainer drives the execution of training strategies across a designated district, translating Sales Academy goals into measurable business outcomes. Working both independently and collaboratively, the role ensures consistent, high‑quality training delivery that enhances customer service and retail performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation of training programs and monitor their business impact.
• Support Sales Academy initiatives in all stores, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Develop and maintain a training calendar, manage nominations, and communicate program details.
• Conduct Train‑the‑Trainer sessions to empower in‑store trainers on product knowledge and service behaviours.
• Create milestones, track progress, and report on training KPIs.
• Design and deliver seasonal training materials for local product and concept activations.
• Roll out global certification and consumer experience programs.
• Coordinate key training events such as CEI weeks, sustainability campaigns, and adiclub days.
• Organise communication rhythms including team meetings, trade calls, and store manager reviews.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and provide feedback on program effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven ability to set clear training objectives and share weekly calendars with stakeholders.
• Experience coaching and mentoring retail team members.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of meeting timelines and measurable targets.
• Adaptable communication style to engage diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Robust network building across functional areas.
• Deep understanding of Sales Academy strategy, processes, and market dynamics.
• Ability to convert strategic goals into actionable plans and use KPIs to drive performance.
• Willingness to work across cultural contexts and undertake short‑ or long‑term assignments beyond the home location.
