Director, Supplier Quality

About the role

AGCO is seeking a Director of Supplier Quality to lead its global supplier quality strategy. The role is responsible for driving world‑class performance across the supply base, reducing defects, warranty exposure and production disruptions while supporting new product introductions and strategic sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global supplier quality strategy aligned with business and operational goals.
• Lead a high‑performing global Supplier Quality organization, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive supplier development, performance management, corrective actions and risk mitigation programs.
• Enhance supplier capability in regions such as India, China, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe, focusing on manufacturing readiness, APQP and PPAP.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring robust APQP/PPAP execution and launch readiness.
• Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Integrity and Regional Quality teams to improve supplier performance.
• Implement data‑driven supplier performance management to lower defects, disruptions and cost of poor quality.
• Lead warranty recovery initiatives and hold suppliers accountable for field quality issues.
