Director / Senior Director – Capital Markets

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Director or Senior Director to lead our Capital Markets function. The role involves shaping fundraising strategy, managing end‑to‑end capital raise transactions and building strong relationships with a variety of investors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage capital‑raising initiatives across equity, debt and structured finance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, banks, NBFCs, family offices and other capital providers.
• Structure, negotiate and close complex financing deals aligned with business objectives.
• Prepare investor pitch decks, financial models and transaction memoranda.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk and Business Units to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor market trends, investor appetite and regulatory changes to provide strategic recommendations.
• Build a pipeline of capital‑market opportunities and drive transactions to completion.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, corporate finance or financial services.
• Strong understanding of capital structures, financial instruments and deal structuring.
• Proven track record of managing investor relationships and closing fundraising transactions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical abilities.
• MBA (Finance), CA or CFA preferred.
