Director of Technical Product Management (Remote)

About the role

Savant Labs, a leader in agentic AI analytics automation, is seeking a Director of Technical Product Management to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of its platform ecosystem. This remote position will focus on the SaaS control plane and customer‑deployed VPC offerings, ensuring enterprise‑grade scalability, reliability, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the platform product roadmap aligned with business and customer needs.
• Raise the quality bar across performance, reliability, security, scalability, and observability.
• Gather requirements from application teams and VPC customers and translate them into actionable product specs.
• Prioritize platform investments, technical debt reduction, and application team requests.
• Act as the single point of ownership for platform demand and prioritization.
• Manage cross‑functional dependencies and communicate roadmap priorities, trade‑offs, and strategic decisions to stakeholders.
• Partner closely with architecture and engineering teams to shape platform direction and ensure long‑term enterprise readiness.

Required profile

• 10+ years of technical product management experience, preferably with platform, infrastructure, developer platform, or API products.
• Strong understanding of hybrid SaaS architectures with control‑plane and VPC environments.
• Proven ability to define and drive non‑functional requirements such as performance, reliability, security, scalability, and observability.
• Track record of delivering complex platform roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across engineering, product, and business teams.
• Experience in fast‑paced startup environments and exposure to regulated domains (SOX, SOC, finance, compliance).
• Willingness to work with significant overlap with US East Coast teams (availability until ~2:30 AM IST).
