Director of Human Resources

About the role

The Director of Human Resources will join the property executive committee and report directly to the General Manager. This senior leader will shape HR strategy, drive talent acquisition, succession planning and performance management for the property, ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the property’s HR strategy, translating business priorities into actionable plans.
• Lead engagement‑survey initiatives and act on results to improve employee satisfaction.
• Oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession management across the property.
• Implement and monitor HR initiatives, including the use of the myHR system.
• Serve as change manager for high‑impact employee initiatives.
• Present HR metrics (retention, open positions, training outcomes) at owners’ meetings.
• Supervise HR staff and ensure compliance with regional diversity and inclusion goals.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with 4 years relevant experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with 2 years experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and influence senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices in a hospitality environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the myHR HR technology platform.
