Director, Global Finance Shared Services

About the role

The Director, Global Finance Shared Services leads the performance and continuous improvement of the company’s outsourced finance operations worldwide. Reporting to the VP, Chief Accounting Officer, the role owns the end‑to‑end Records‑to‑Reports, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes delivered through a global BPO partner.

Key responsibilities

• Own the overall outsourced Finance Shared Services operating model for GL, AR and AP across all regions.
• Serve as the primary accountability point for BPO service delivery, governance and outcomes.
• Lead and develop the Global AP/AR Manager, ensuring alignment between BPO teams and regional finance functions.
• Scale the shared services model with business growth while maintaining service quality, compliance and cost discipline.
• Oversee global AR delivery, ensuring timely invoicing, efficient collections, accurate cash application and effective credit management.
• Partner with regional finance, sales and customer‑facing teams to resolve complex AR issues and support cash‑flow objectives.
• Provide strategic oversight of global AP operations, standardize processes, and drive automation using Infosys tools such as APOC.
• Maintain consistent AP policies, controls and service levels, including invoice processing, payment execution and vendor master governance.
• Monitor performance, risks and continuous improvement opportunities across GL, AR and AP functions.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably in a global or BPO environment.
• Deep knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage external service providers and drive operational excellence.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on transformation and cost discipline.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities across regions.
