DevOps Engineer

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and automation tools that enable fast, reliable software delivery. This role bridges development and operations, ensuring seamless collaboration and continuous improvement of the delivery pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud and on‑premises infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and performance‑optimization solutions to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Foster collaboration between development, operations, and other stakeholders, acting as a liaison for project goals and timelines.
• Automate application and service deployment using configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Integrate security practices (DevSecOps) and conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Respond to production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and system architecture.
• Advocate for best practices and stay updated on emerging DevOps technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Educational background: BE, BTech, or MCA.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
