DevOps Engineer – Golang, Node.js, Terraform & Azure

About the role

Synechron is looking for a DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience in DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines, plus strong hands-on development in Golang and Node.js. The role supports the modernization of entitlement services by migrating OMES and UPMS from direct Salesforce account and contact dependencies to a backward-compatible API and integration layer. It also covers infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, cutovers, entitlement validation and QA.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate OMES and UPMS to the new API and integration layer, preserving backward compatibility for downstream consumers.
• Design and build integration components and support two cutovers per system (shielding layer and Salesforce hierarchy change).
• Prepare, test and maintain rollback plans and readiness activities for each cutover.
• Validate entitlement and permission integrity end-to-end and resolve over- or under-permissioning risks.
• Support data migration for about 8,800 new Segment Accounts, including validation, reconciliation and mapping checks.
• Manage IAC and CI/CD pipelines, and build, test, deploy, monitor and troubleshoot Golang and Node.js services.
• Contribute to QA and the compressed UAT window, and work with engineering, platform, security, testing, data and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• 6+ years designing, implementing and maintaining automated build, test, release and deployment pipelines.
• Strong hands-on development in Golang and Node.js.
• Proven Terraform experience and solid understanding of microservices and REST APIs.
• Preferred: enterprise integration or iPaaS (e.g. MuleSoft), Azure (AKS, API Management, Key Vault), two-stage cutovers, large-scale data migrations and automated security/API testing.
