DevOps Engineer – Build and Manage CI/CD Tools

About the role

Apple’s Information Systems and Technology group is looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the tooling that powers large‑scale software releases across on‑prem, private, and public cloud environments. You will work closely with global development and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high‑performance platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation tools for Apple’s full product lifecycle management ecosystem.
• Deploy, support, and monitor compute platforms and application stacks.
• Debug and root‑cause issues, automating repetitive tasks wherever possible.
• Explore, evaluate, and integrate new technologies to improve platform scalability and security.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to influence architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a DevOps or operations engineering role.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on uptime and performance.
• Ability to understand complex systems and continuously seek improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across multiple teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Golang, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with on‑prem, private, and public cloud platforms.
• Strong debugging and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
