Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join EIL Global’s onsite team in Jhajjar, Haryana. The role involves delivering end‑user computing support for enterprise clients, ensuring hardware and software operate smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Perform Windows operating system installations, upgrades, and re‑imaging.
• Diagnose and resolve problems with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Conduct basic network troubleshooting in LAN/WAN environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other network devices.
• Respond promptly to service requests while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Document support activities, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately.
• Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or field services.
• Strong hands‑on experience with desktop hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, routers, and switches.
• Experience with operating system deployment, imaging, and break‑fix support.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
