About the role
The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and optimizing designs for pre‑engineered steel structures. The role involves close collaboration with architectural teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and design pre‑engineered steel buildings/structures using STAAD.Pro.
- Prepare design sketches and calculation reports.
- Perform connection designs for structural/PEB buildings.
- Estimate material quantities and prepare cost estimates.
- Review and check approval drawings for compliance.
Required profile
- Age between 23 and 35 years.
- 4–8 years of experience in steel/R.C.C. structural design, preferably in PEB companies or consultancy.
- Thorough knowledge of Indian Standards, AISC, MBMA.
- Proficiency with STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Experience designing steel and multi‑storey RCC industrial structures.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and understand client requirements.
- Strong communication skills.
