Design Engineer – Product Design (UG‑NX)

About the role

As a Design Engineer in the PS‑CC/EDT‑IN team, you will be responsible for delivering customer‑specific product designs that meet Bosch’s engineering standards. The role combines mechanical design, calculation, and simulation activities to create reliable solutions for the automotive and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed product designs for assigned projects, adhering to Bosch’s quality and safety standards.
• Perform design calculations and run simulations to validate performance and durability.
• Create and modify 3‑D models using CAD tools, preferably UG‑NX.
• Interpret and apply GD&T principles to ensure manufacturability.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and customers to address design challenges and iterate solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in product design or simulation.
• Strong customer and project orientation with the ability to work flexibly in an agile environment.
• Team‑player mindset with good communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software, preferably UG‑NX.
• Good knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience in product design, design calculations and simulation.
