Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager – Supplier Quality Management

About the role

Lead and enhance supplier quality performance by applying strong expertise in supplier quality management, supplier development and audits, while driving continuous improvement across the supply base.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Drive sustainable improvements in quality, cost and delivery.
• Develop supplier capabilities and increase process maturity.
• Perform on‑site audits and monitor performance at supplier sites across India.
• Support Bosch PT plants in product development and safe launch of new or transferred parts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile or Production Engineering (full‑time).
• 8–10 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance within consumer, electrical or related industries.
• Knowledge of VDA6.3 audit procedures and supplier education/escalation programs.
• Experience with value‑stream optimisation and process improvement.

Required skills

• Quality tools: FMEA, control plan, failure analysis, SPC, poka‑yoke, capability studies, measurement system analysis, IPC standards.
• Problem‑solving techniques: 8D, Ishikawa diagram, 5‑why analysis, cause & defect analysis.
• VDA6.3 audit methodology (new supplier and process audits P2‑P7).
