Data Engineer I – DSP Analytics

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer I to join Amazon’s DSP Analytics team. In this role you will design, build, and operate real‑time and batch data pipelines that deliver actionable insights for the Delivery Service Partner program, while supporting next‑generation GenAI applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that ingest data from databases, APIs, and external providers.
• Build and optimise ETL processes to clean, enrich, and transform raw data for analysis and reporting.
• Implement and manage data‑warehousing solutions to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, and query performance.
• Establish data‑quality standards, perform validation, and proactively resolve quality issues.
• Ensure data privacy and security through access controls, encryption, and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver supporting infrastructure.
• Document data models, pipelines, and processes, and implement monitoring to detect failures or bottlenecks.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging data‑engineering technologies to drive continuous improvement.
