Cyber Security Professional – 3rd Party Payroll

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Professional to lead URL scanning and vulnerability assessment for third‑party payroll systems. The role focuses on identifying, analysing, and mitigating threats from malicious URLs and system weaknesses to keep our digital assets secure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and configure systems to analyse URLs, portals and software.
• Implement URL categorisation and reputation checks using safe‑browsing and threat‑intelligence feeds.
• Investigate and respond to suspicious URLs reported by users or detected by tools.
• Run regular vulnerability scans of URLs, portals and software with Nessus, Qualys or Rapid7.
• Prioritise findings based on risk, exploitability and business impact.
• Coordinate remediation with IT and development teams and track progress.
• Provide regular reports on vulnerability status, trends and risk posture.
• Collaborate with IT, risk, compliance and business units on security initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• Strong analytical skills to assess URL legitimacy and vulnerability data.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.
• Excellent written communication for reporting findings to stakeholders.
