Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer – L1

About the role

As a Cross Technology Managed Services Engineer (L1) you will be the first point of contact for NTT DATA clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure runs smoothly and service level agreements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor client environments and proactively identify incidents or errors.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve first‑line incidents via phone, ITSM tickets or chat.
• Perform routine maintenance such as patching and configuration changes.
• Work across at least two technology domains (e.g., Cloud, Security, Networking, Applications, Collaboration).
• Update or create knowledge‑base articles and suggest process optimisations.
• Support project activities and contribute to disaster‑recovery testing.
• Ensure seamless shift handovers, report and escalate incidents when required.

Required profile

• Entry‑level experience troubleshooting security, network, data‑centre, systems or storage in a medium‑to‑large ICT organisation.
• Basic understanding of management agents, redundancy concepts and ITIL processes.
• Disciplined ticket handling using SOPs and knowledge articles.
• Strong client‑centric attitude and ability to work with diverse cultures.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and willingness to work flexible hours.
