Credit Risk Specialist

About the role

KPMG India is seeking a Credit Risk Specialist to lead and manage the end‑to‑end Credit Cycle Management (CCM) journey for a portfolio of moderate to high‑complexity clients. The role involves driving productivity, technology adoption, and continuous improvement across credit analysis activities while supporting the firm’s Net Zero transition initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver BCO tasks in line with agreed OKRs, SLAs and KPIs for a diverse client portfolio.
• Lead and manage the CCM journey, ensuring seamless processes for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Set up and oversee a team of ODC resources, handling workflow, training and development.
• Drive productivity improvements, digital adoption and customer experience enhancements.
• Monitor and analyse stakeholder feedback to identify improvement areas.
• Escalate and resolve CCM‑related risks and issues with regional and global stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior management and sustainability champions on Net Zero initiatives.
• Continuously improve credit analysis standards and maintain strong relationships with Business and Risk teams.
• Develop and sustain an innovative, engaged BCO team.
• Participate in deal discussions and related meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing credit risk portfolios of moderate to high complexity.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Leadership experience in managing cross‑functional or offshore teams.
• Ability to drive process improvement and technology adoption.
• Commitment to sustainability and Net Zero objectives.
