Country Director – India

About the role

Biosys is seeking an experienced Country Director to launch and lead its operations in India. The role combines commercial growth, regulatory oversight, and team building to establish a high‑performing local presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the market strategy for Biosys India.
• Build, mentor and manage local sales, service and regulatory teams.
• Drive sales across government and private healthcare sectors.
• Manage distributor and key customer relationships.
• Lead CDSCO registration and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Oversee participation in GeM and other government tenders.
• Set up local operations, technical support and supply‑chain functions.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and monitor business performance.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in the medical‑device industry.
• Proven leadership of country or regional operations.
• Strong background in ICU, ventilation or critical‑care products.
• Hands‑on knowledge of CDSCO registration and Indian regulatory requirements.
• Experience with GeM and government procurement (highly preferred).
• Excellent commercial, financial and people‑management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is an advantage.
