Counter Sales Executive – Retail Sales Role

About the role

The Counter Sales Executive will work full‑time on‑site in Lucknow, representing a well‑known jewellery brand. You will be the first point of contact for walk‑in customers, guiding them through product features, quotations and purchases while maintaining a tidy sales counter.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk‑in clients, answer product‑related queries and provide clear information on features, pricing and timelines.
• Prepare basic quotations, process orders and handle billing and payment transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels and customer feedback using point‑of‑sale or CRM tools.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery and support promotional activities at the office or nearby locations.
• Contribute to achieving daily and monthly sales targets.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills in English and local languages.
• Basic sales and negotiation abilities, with a focus on building long‑term client relationships.
• Organisational and time‑management skills to handle multiple queries and meet targets.
• Prior experience in counter sales, retail or front‑office roles is preferred but not mandatory.
