Corporate Lawyer – M&A, Venture Capital & Private Equity

About the role

We are expanding our corporate M&A practice in Mumbai and are seeking dynamic, motivated lawyers to join our team. The role offers the chance to work on complex cross‑border transactions across multiple sectors, collaborating with various practice groups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting, and negotiation.
• Provide legal advice on private equity, venture capital, and buy‑out investments.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and external counsel on cross‑border deals.
• Prepare and review transaction documents, shareholder agreements, and related corporate filings.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
• 2–8 years of post‑qualification experience in corporate law, M&A, private equity, or venture capital.
• Proven ability to handle complex, cross‑border transactions independently.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client‑management skills.
