Consultant – Tax, TMT & Global Compliance (Hyderabad)

About the role

EY is seeking a Consultant to join its Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on tax compliance and reporting for Technology, Media, Telecom (TMT) clients, helping them navigate complex regulatory environments while supporting growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on corporate, direct, and international tax compliance requirements.
• Interpret and apply the Income Tax Act and related provisions to ensure accurate tax reporting and filings.
• Execute global compliance and reporting activities, adhering to statutory and regulatory standards.
• Analyze tax data, interpret tax positions, and support end‑to‑end compliance processes for TMT clients.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver tax insights that inform business decisions.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of corporate, direct, and international tax compliance.
• Sound understanding of the Income Tax Act and related tax provisions.
• Ability to manage global compliance and reporting tasks with attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with experience interpreting tax data and positions.
