Communications Specialist – APAC

About the role

The Communications Specialist for APAC will shape and deliver innovative communications that inspire and engage both internal and external audiences. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help build Worley’s reputation across the region and support its ambition to deliver sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Tailor and deliver a range of communications for internal and external APAC audiences, including leadership updates, employee messages, and stakeholder briefings.
• Act as a trusted communications advisor to senior leaders, influencing business decisions and shaping the company’s voice.
• Champion Worley’s brand, ensuring a distinctive and consistent presence in a competitive market.
• Implement strategic communication initiatives that align with business objectives and maintain clear, consistent messaging across all channels.
• Elevate leadership visibility through internal updates and external messaging to engage teams and external stakeholders.
• Develop and publish stories that showcase people, projects, and customers, reinforcing business priorities.
• Manage issues and crises, collaborating with security and crisis teams to protect the organization.
• Collaborate with Corporate Affairs, Marketing, Investor Relations, Legal, and other partners to leverage opportunities and strengthen relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate, internal, or external communications, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong ability to influence senior leaders and translate business objectives into compelling narratives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling.
• Understanding of APAC markets and cultural nuances.
• Demonstrated capability to manage issues, crises, and stakeholder expectations.
