About the role

The role supports the Production team in food preparation at Ibis Mumbai BKC. As a Commis Chef you will assist the Executive Chef and Chef de Partie, ensuring high‑quality dishes and smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Production team with food preparation and related kitchen duties.
• Follow instructions from the Executive Chef or Chef de Partie across all kitchen sections.
• Maintain clear records and adhere to standard operating procedures.
• Support stock taking, rotation and minimise food waste.
• Ensure hygiene and safety standards are consistently met.
• Collaborate with catering and stewarding departments for events.
• Uphold personal grooming and hygiene standards.
