Commis 1 – Kitchen Assistant

About the role
Fitkhao, a fast‑growing healthy food brand, is looking for a Commis 1 to join its kitchen team in Chandannagar. You will prepare, cook and present menu items while upholding the brand’s quality, taste and consistency standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and plate dishes according to Fitkhao’s recipes.
- Maintain hygiene, safety and overall kitchen standards.
- Ensure consistent quality and taste across all servings.
- Support smooth kitchen operations in a startup environment.
Required profile
- Passion for healthy food and willingness to work in a dynamic startup culture.
- Ability to start immediately and adapt quickly.
- Willingness to live on‑site with accommodation and meals provided.
Required skills
- Knowledge of South Indian cuisine.
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine.
- Knowledge of Tandoor cooking techniques.
- Food preparation and cooking.
- Food presentation.
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
