Cluster Manager – Insurance Sales (Raipur)

About the role

The Cluster Manager will drive insurance business growth through assigned bank relationship and channel partners in Raipur. You will act as the bridge between the bank, customers and Birla Sunlife Insurance, ensuring seamless pre‑ and post‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve premium and revenue targets by continuously engaging with multiple bank branch heads and mapping key decision‑makers.
• Execute smooth sales and service processes, handling sales calls, policy issuance and complaint resolution.
• Manage open‑architecture relationships, providing the best insurance and banking product solutions to bank customers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, innovate branch activities and maintain a profitable product mix (Traditional 50%, ULIP 40%, Term 10%).
• Provide inputs for new product development and sales pitches based on channel needs.
• Monitor business performance, report insights to superiors and ensure timely renewals to meet persistency targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance or banking sales with a strong track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent relationship‑management skills to align third‑party priorities with business goals.
• Ability to navigate market volatility and adapt to process changes.
• Strong communication skills for training, customer interaction and stakeholder updates.
