Civil Roads & Urban 3D Design Engineer

About the role

Egis is looking for a detail‑oriented Civil Roads & Urban 3D Design Engineer to join its transportation infrastructure team in Bengaluru. You will create comprehensive 3‑D models for urban road networks, intersections and related infrastructure, ensuring designs meet regulatory standards and project goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3‑D models and designs for urban roads, intersections and transportation infrastructure using industry‑standard software.
• Analyse site conditions, traffic patterns and urban planning requirements to optimise transportation solutions.
• Prepare technical drawings, visualisation materials and design documentation for stakeholder presentations and approvals.
• Coordinate with project managers, urban planners, environmental specialists and other stakeholders to align designs with project objectives and regulations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and design‑alternatives analysis to recommend optimal solutions.
• Ensure compliance with transportation design standards, building codes and local regulations.
• Utilise GIS and spatial analysis tools to assess project sites and support data‑driven design decisions.
• Participate in design reviews, providing technical input to improve deliverables.
• Maintain organised project files and documentation for efficient management.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret traffic and site data.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
