Cashier – Retail POS (Pune Division)

About the role
The Cashier will manage cash and electronic payments at our Pune Division, ensuring accurate transaction processing and excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Handle cash, card, and digital payments, issue receipts and maintain transaction records.
- Reconcile cash drawers and payment balances at the end of each shift.
- Identify and resolve transaction discrepancies following company policies.
- Assist customers with queries, returns, and exchanges in accordance with guidelines.
- Coordinate with accounts and store management for financial reporting.
Required profile
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of accounting or retail cash management practices.
- Effective communication and professional customer service skills.
- Organizational and time‑management abilities, especially during peak hours.
- Integrity, reliability and adherence to confidentiality and financial controls.
- Minimum high school diploma; commerce or finance qualification preferred.
