CAD Specialist I

About the role

As a CAD Specialist I at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design and development of high‑quality mechanical solutions. You will use your expertise in CAD software to create accurate models and ensure that products meet rigorous quality and reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed CAD drawings and 3‑D models.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to produce accurate, high‑quality designs.
• Review and analyze engineering drawings and specifications for compliance.
• Maintain adherence to project requirements, industry standards, and company guidelines.
• Organize and maintain CAD files and related documentation.

Required profile

• 0+ years of experience in CAD design and engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to lead or manage CAD design projects.
• Experience mentoring junior CAD engineers.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality‑assurance mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• In‑depth knowledge of engineering principles, design standards, and industry best practices.
• Familiarity with advanced CAD techniques and tools.
