Laboratory Technician – Textile Testing

About the role

Join TÜV SÜD Group as a Laboratory Technician focused on textile testing. You will work in a dedicated textile testing laboratory, ensuring that materials meet defined standards and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sampling and testing of textile materials according to established standards and SOPs.
• Operate and maintain laboratory test equipment following prescribed procedures.
• Record test results accurately and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and compliance guidelines throughout all testing activities.
• Assist senior lab personnel with routine and specialized testing tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and its instruments.

Required profile

• B.Tech/Diploma in Textile Engineering or M.Sc. in Textiles, Chemistry or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in textile testing or a similar laboratory environment.
• Strong technical understanding of textile testing concepts and basic knowledge of testing standards.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) precisely.
• Good analytical and observation skills with a willingness to learn.
