Design Engineer – Electrical

About the role

BEUMER Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to create and manage cabinet drawings, hardware selections, and installation documentation for its intralogistics solutions. You will work closely with project teams to ensure technical compliance and successful site implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cabinet drawings using E‑plan P8, including circuit diagrams, hardware selection, layout, BOM, cable overview and termination.
• Create and maintain documents for the E‑plan database.
• Interpret technical tender documents and produce compliance sheets.
• Design product parts and assemblies, coordinating with vendors.
• Develop installation drawings and provide clear instructions to site supervisors and installation teams.
• Conduct project site visits, generate reports and maintain documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in electrical design and documentation.
