Buyer – JV Procurement for Joint Venture

About the role

The Buyer will manage procurement activities across all commodities for the Airbus‑Air India Joint Venture (AITC‑JV). The role implements Airbus procurement processes, ensures supplier lifecycle management and maintains compliance, governance and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Call for Tender (CFT) process, from strategy definition to supplier negotiations and contract closure.
• Drive supplier onboarding, ensuring compliance, quality and performance criteria are met.
• Monitor procurement governance, ethical standards and risk mitigation, including fraud prevention and supplier audits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, digital, consulting, etc.) to deliver projects on schedule.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management or related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of procurement/sourcing experience with overall 10 years industry experience, preferably in IT, sales or manufacturing.
• Strong project/program management skills and ability to work autonomously in distributed teams.
• Fluent English communication and willingness to travel locally and globally.
