Business Development Manager - Cybersecurity & IT Solutions

About the role

Madre Janus Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the acquisition of new clients and expand its presence in the IT and cybersecurity solutions market. The position is based at the company's Kochi office, is full-time and permanent, and reports to the VP of Business & Cybersecurity Solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities, generate leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, events and digital channels, and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Sell IT and cybersecurity solutions such as managed SOC, MDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR, EDR, network security, SASE/ZTNA, cloud security, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, and incident response.
• Develop Fortinet-related opportunities, register qualified opportunities through the Fortinet Partner Portal, and coordinate demos, POCs and proposals.
• Qualify leads by business requirement, budget, authority and timeline, maintain CRM records, track opportunities and forecast pipeline value.
• Manage client relationships, follow up prospects and identify upsell opportunities.
• Represent the company at technology and cybersecurity events, gather market intelligence and qualify leads after events.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial submissions, support negotiations and hand over deals to implementation.
• Produce regular reports on leads, qualified opportunities, meetings, demos, proposals, pipeline value and Fortinet registrations.

Required profile

• Experience selling IT products, cybersecurity solutions, managed services, cloud solutions, networking or enterprise technology services.
• Ability to engage with decision-makers, understand business and technical requirements and convert qualified prospects into customers.
• Willingness to work closely with technical, cybersecurity, SOC and leadership teams.
