Business Development Executive – Hospitality Visual Content

About the role

Soup by Falka is a visual‑content studio that creates luxury photography and film for hotels and resorts. We are expanding across India and internationally, and need a Business Development Executive to generate new opportunities and nurture long‑term client relationships within the hospitality sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach hotels, resorts, hotel groups, hospitality agencies and related prospects.
• Generate leads through company‑provided contacts, independent research, email, LinkedIn, networking and industry events.
• Understand client needs and recommend appropriate photography and film services.
• Prepare proposals, pitch decks and commercial presentations independently.
• Negotiate custom pricing for founder approval and close deals, coordinating advance payments.
• Hand over confirmed projects to the production team and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date CRM, provide weekly pipeline updates and monthly revenue forecasts.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of business‑development or B2B sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, communications or a related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Hindi.
• Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, organised and comfortable working remotely.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for key meetings and events.
• Experience in photography, filmmaking, production, hospitality, advertising, luxury or travel is valuable; candidates from creative backgrounds are preferred.
