Business Administrator – French Speaker

About the role

As a Business Administrator you will develop, implement and maintain project controls systems to ensure effective cost management for major EPCM projects. You will act as the primary point of contact for the EcoSys cost control tool, providing training and ongoing support to users across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain project controls procedures and standards.
• Coordinate EcoSys deployment, conduct user training and provide continuous support.
• Track, analyse and report project expenditures against budgets and forecasts, preparing monthly cost reports, variance analyses and dashboards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of budgets, actual costs, forecasts, accruals and cash‑flow projections.
• Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads and procurement teams to update forecasts, evaluate change orders and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support contract management and invoicing by reviewing invoices, monitoring accruals and delivering cost‑related insights.
• Participate in project meetings to provide project‑controls updates and ensure compliance with internal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of cost‑control experience, preferably on large EPCM projects.
• Bilingual French and English.
• Ability to work flexibly across UK, Canada or USA time zones.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EcoSys project‑controls software.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Aconex Cost, Primavera P6 and Power BI.
