Accountant – Record to Report (US Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Accountant (Record to Report) to join the Global Finance Services Division in Bangalore. The role provides timely and accurate financial record‑keeping and reporting as directed by management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards.
• Review and approve journal entries.
• Review and approve reconciliations to clear aged balance‑sheet items.
• Create internal and external financial performance reports.
• Develop and use automated tools for consolidating, analyzing and reporting financial results.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of accounting education (degree) or equivalent; professional certification (CA/CMA/US CPA) preferred.
• 4‑5 years of experience in captive accounting service centres or large manufacturing & service corporations.
• Familiarity with multiple ERP systems and various accounting tools.
• Basic data‑analytical skills and ability to interpret results.
• Understanding of accounting and business issues.
• Willingness to work the US shift (06:00 PM – 03:00 AM IST) on a five‑day‑a‑week onsite schedule.
