Branch Manager – Gold Loan (North West)

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the North West branch of Bajaj Finance Limited, overseeing gold loan operations and driving overall profitability. You will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day activities, ensuring compliance, and expanding the branch’s customer base.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all branch operations, including gold loan valuation, appraisal, and vault custody.
• Plan and execute field‑marketing initiatives to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
• Monitor and control non‑performing assets (NPAs) through proactive customer follow‑ups.
• Prepare and analyse performance reports, taking corrective actions to meet growth targets.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate branch staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure 100 % compliance with valuation processes, weight and purity assessments, and audit requirements.
• Promote additional third‑party products such as NCDs and gold coins.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of relevant experience in gold loan banking or related financial services.
• Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a branch profitably and meet targets.
• Strong customer‑engagement and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
