Blade CAD Design Engineer

About the role

The Blade CAD Design Engineer will support the wind turbine blade development team by creating detailed CAD models, technical documentation, and automation scripts for composite blade manufacturing. This role combines expertise in composite materials with advanced CAD tools to ensure high‑quality blade designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design glass nesting core kits and composite material lay‑up models for wind turbine blades.
• Generate laser projection files and CAD layup models to guide manufacturing processes.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for blade design and manufacturing.
• Automate CAD workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to integrate design data into production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the wind industry.
