BIM Modeler – Civil 3D

About the role

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a BIM Modeler – Civil 3D to join its Bangalore/Gurugram office. The role focuses on creating detailed 3‑D models of underground utility networks and supporting construction and regulatory documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3‑D models of wet and dry utilities (storm drainage, sanitary sewers, water, gas, telecom) using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Generate plan, profile and cross‑section drawings for construction and approval processes.
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts with Navisworks.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure accurate representation of existing and proposed conditions.
• Maintain model integrity and update as‑built conditions.
• Work in multi‑user cloud environments such as ACC and ProjectWise, customizing object, label and pipe network styles.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Technology or a related field.
• 3–10 years of experience in Civil 3D utility modeling.
• Strong understanding of municipal infrastructure standards and construction documentation.
