BIM Engineer – Water & Drainage Systems

About the role

We are looking for a BIM Engineer specialized in water supply, sanitary drainage, and stormwater systems to join our MEPF BIM team in Ahmedabad. The role involves creating and coordinating high‑quality Revit MEP models for plumbing and hydraulic infrastructure across diverse building projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for water supply, drainage, stormwater and related hydraulic systems using Revit MEP.
• Prepare detailed plumbing layouts, pump room models, riser diagrams and coordination drawings.
• Produce construction documentation, shop drawings and BIM deliverables.
• Support quantity take‑offs, BOQ preparation and project documentation.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural and MEP disciplines to ensure clash‑free integration.
• Participate in model reviews, clash detection and coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans, modelling standards and client requirements.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in Revit MEP modelling for hydraulic and plumbing systems.
• Strong understanding of water supply, drainage, sewerage and stormwater design.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and design requirements.
• Effective communication and coordination skills within multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit MEP for hydraulic and plumbing modelling.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination.
• Familiarity with BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of plumbing and hydraulic design standards and industry best practices.
