Architect – Sustainable Design Studio

About the role

APDL, a multidisciplinary design studio in Ranchi, is looking for a full‑time Architect to join its energetic team. You will work on projects that blend architecture, interior design, landscape and graphic design, always with a focus on contextual and sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept designs, schematic plans and detailed architectural drawings.
• Create 3D models and visualisations that communicate design intent.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants and other designers throughout all project phases.
• Attend client meetings, translate briefs into functional and aesthetic solutions.
• Coordinate project documentation, manage timelines and ensure compliance with local codes and standards.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in architecture and design, with a focus on context‑responsive and sustainable solutions.
• Experience in project coordination, deliverable management and schedule monitoring.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge of Indian building codes and sustainable design practices.
• Portfolio demonstrating design thinking and technical competence.
